Every Fall, I watch families scramble to book sessions before the leaves are gone. Believe me when I say that I love fall photos; there is something so magical about the falling leaves and beautiful light.
But guess what? You don’t have to wait until the fall to have meaningful family photographs!
Some of the best family sessions have happened on random Tuesday afternoons in June. Or that “we just need updated photos” session in February that turned into pure magic because nobody was worried about coordinating outfits with fall colors.
Your family’s story doesn’t need a specific backdrop to matter. What matters is that moment when your toddler cracks a grin perfectly timed with my shutter. Or when your teenager forgets to be self-conscious for just a second, and we get the most lovely family memory.
If fall works for your schedule, beautiful. If not, let’s find a time when everyone can breathe and actually be present. Because twenty years from now, you won’t remember what season it was — you’ll remember how it felt to all be together.
